Criminal Law in the Third Millennium
Globalization and supranational integration are phenomena that are originating even more intricate social relationships. In such a scenario, penal law performs an increasingly prominent role as criterion of fixation of normative orientation. The globalized world witnesses the expansion of the penal intervention, as regards the criminalization of behaviors - formerly traditionally restricted to administration, fiscal and civil areas - currently present in activities such as economic, financial, managerial, soil ordinance and good use of natural resources , consumption and fiscal relationships, as well as public administration, privatization, telecommunications, biotechnology and biogenetics.
Addressing a criminal problem is certainly less convenient than not having it. Although this is a very clear ascertaining, when it comes to criminal law such a conscience is not sufficiently developed yet.
Namely in the economic penal law scope, companies and executives have been facing ever growing difficulties, therefore making the appropriate criminal law support indispensable. In face of such a scenario, our office is ready to provide advisory services and to take action in defende of the interests of economic and political agents within the criminal scope.
